Another major tournament, and another early exit for England.

The Three Lions had been expected to see off underdogs Iceland in the second round of EURO 2016 last night, but instead fell to a 2-1 defeat.

Coach Roy Hodgson also resigned straight after the game, with millions of fans across the country left grieving at their team's latest failure.

But luckily for you, the Oxford Mail has five things which are sure to cheer you up:

1. An Englishman actually won something yesterday

Ranked 772 in the world, qualifier Marcus Willis wasn't given much hope when he turned up for his first round match at Wimbledon yesterday against Ricardas Berankis - ranked more than 700 places above him.

But the Brit defied expectations and left Court 17 with a straight sets victory. Oh, and he plays Roger Federer in his next match.

He wasn't the only home winner yesterday, with British number four Dan Evans also coming through his tie.

2. There's time to catch up on the mowing this weekend

Instead of sitting inside all weekend and watching England play France in Sunday's quarter-final, there's a chance to get out in the sun and get started on mowing the grass.

Although the Met Office is predicting some rain for this weekend, there should be some outbreaks of sun with temperatures of up to 17 degrees.

Perfect sunbathing weather then.

3. You can spend more time on Ebay - buying bath bombs from Thames Valley Police

If you're looking for a new electric trimmer or set of bath bombs, auction site Ebay might be one of the first places you would like.

But it's unlikely that you'd expect your new purchases to come straight from Thames Valley Police.

In an effort to get rid of some of the items collected through investigations or lost property at police station, the force has set up its own Ebay page selling off a variety of products.

4. There's time to watch more videos on Youtube - including this barman from Thame

An assistant pub manager from Thame has bared (nearly all) for a viral video in a bid to solve a case of mistaken identity.

Nathan Swift, aka Swifty, from the James Figg pub, kept being asked by regulars if he was the guy appearing in a clip from website The LAD Bible of a man dancing to Justin Timberlake's new song Can't Stop The Feeling by a swimming pool.

In an effort not to disappoint customers, Swifty agreed to recreate the video in the pub's garden, wearing as little as his doppleganger in the original clip.

5. And finally, here's a picture of two happy pigs.

Fairytale Farm, just outside Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire, has welcomed its newest and most unusual arrival: three rare breed woolly pigs.

Owner Nick Laister comments: "Our three new girls are already a favourite with our staff because they are so gorgeous. With thick, woolly coasts and huge floppy ears, you might be forgiven for thinking that they are sheep from a distance. But they are in fact a very rare breed of pig called Mangalitsa! They have got to be the most attractive breed of pig in the world and I think our visitors are going to fall in love with them as quickly as our staff."
