THE Market Place in Wallingford will be closed to all traffic for about two hours on Remembrance Sunday for the traditional service to be held.

The annual serivice will take place in the middle of the town at 10.40am and the Market Place will therefore be closed to traffic from about 10am to 12pm on Sunday, November 13.

Michelle Taylor, clerk for Wallingford Town Council, said: “The local police/security will be servicing the diversions necessary during these times.

“The Market Place will be closed to all north and southbound traffic.

“The police particular stress that is is important that all of your drivers who will be in the area at that time are notified of the above.”
