Football is making a return to East Challow after a 15 year hiatus.
The revival is being led by Challow Sports under the leadership of John Stillwell.
The club has launched an under sevens rising stars team, which is now training every Saturday morning at 10.30am.
They are currently getting ready for a five-a-side match against Sutton Courtney.
There are also plans to form an adult team, with hopes it will be in place by this time next year.
Challow Sports has the support of the parish council, which has provided a £2,000 grant for refurbishing the old pavilion.
The next step is for the club is to make a grant application to the Football Association for a new community pavilion.
