OXFORD City earned a point in an entertaining clash at Rochdale.
Kairo Mitchell gave the hosts, relegated from Sky Bet League Two last season after 102 years in the Football League, the lead after 11 minutes.
However, the Hoops hit back with strikes from Harvey Greenslade and Josh Parker, to lead 2-1 at the break.
Manchester United loanee Sam Mather equalised though with 13 minutes to go.

The opening goal came when a long ball flew over the City backline, with Mitchell then firing past Tom Watson.
Parker came close to bringing the Hoops level, but he was denied by a brilliant Cameron John challenge, as the City striker bore down on goal.
The Hoops equaliser came after 27 minutes, when debutant Charlie O’Connell, on loan from Peterborough United until the end of the season, nodded Josh Ashby’s corner back into the six-yard box, where Greenslade fired home.
Eight minutes later, Greenslade latched onto Harry Birtwistle’s pass into the right channel, and fizzed a cross into the box, with Parker able to find the net after Tiernan Brooks could only parry the ball.
The Dale came back though in the second half, and grabbed a leveller when Cian Hayes’ cross was finished by Mather.
The result leaves the Hoops 14 points adrift of safety in the Vanarama National League, ahead of Tuesday night’s game at runaway leaders Chesterfield.
